With fast downloads and fast uploads coupled with this solution's lower latency (550ms-650ms), the Mobilsat Enterprise VSAT network solution performs more like a T-1 than a satellite connection. By using a native IP solution, you’ll save 10-50% capacity versus an inefficient DVB MPEG Encapsulation scheme. The extremely rapid bandwidth on demand system ensures the highest efficiency of capacity utilization. MF-TDMA, D-TDMA is 98% payload efficient. With increased Bandwidth Efficiency, the iDirect platform can support more applications and carry more traffic over your available bandwidth. The Deterministic TDMA network architecture (D-TDMA) algorithm allocates bandwidth among multiple remote sites, based on criteria such as the queued depth at each remote site, the CIR (Committed Information Rate) configuration, Quality of Service (QoS) and prioritization requirements. The Mobilsat Enterprise VSAT network support the some of the highest TCP/IP throughputs in the industry, with standard service plans up to 10 Mbps downstream and 4 Mbps upstream. Dedicated bandwidth is available up to 5 Mbps x 5 Mbps.
