HughesNet® VPN Accelerator consists of two components:

#1 Server

The server is an enterprise class Windows 2003 server built by HNS and preloaded/configured

• Deployed within the customers intranet, rack mountable
• Server Web interface to provide customer IT tools
• health status, traffic statistics, configuration

#2 Client Software

• Self executable, downloaded and installed by end user
• Runs in Win 2000 Pro or Win XP Home/Pro
• Detects existance of server
• Runs transparently in background when not using DIRECWAY, (for when traveling using WiFi or cable/DSL or dial-up from hotel or airport.
• Loads after existing Nortel, Cisco, Checkpoint VPN Client is loaded and running.
